A game-theoretic approach for reliability evaluation of public transportation transfers with stochastic features

A game-theoretic approach based on the framework of transferable-utility cooperative games is developed to assess reliability transfer nodes in public transportation networks case stochastic times. game defined, whose model takes into account system, travel times, transfers and associated users’ demand. The stops are modeled as players such a game, Shapley value – solution concept theory used identify their centrality relative importance. Theoretical properties analyzed. two-level Monte Carlo approximation vector values with introduced, which efficient able take features network. performance algorithm investigated, together that its distributed computing variation. usefulness proposed for planners policy makers shown simple example study from network Auckland, New Zealand.
